Morningscore bundles rank tracking, keyword research, backlink analysis and a site-wide SEO Health score into one plan, then wraps the whole thing in game mechanics. Instead of a blank dashboard, you get a score from 0 to 100, assigned "missions" for specific SEO tasks, and level progression as you complete them. It's a genuinely different way to present SEO work.

API on every plan, WordPress and Shopify plugins, and both an AI Overviews tracker and a ChatGPT rank tracker bundled in rather than sold as an add-on.

The gamification is also where some of the criticism lands. A few reviewers note the SEO Health score isn't always a reliable signal, particularly when comparing your domain's score against a competitor's, since the underlying weighting doesn't always match reality. Treat the score as a motivational nudge to prioritize work, not a precise diagnostic.

The entry Lite plan is also more limited than the pricing alone suggests: it tracks 100 keywords for $69 a month, doesn't include full reports, website scanning, or CSV export, and caps you at 2 users and 3 websites. Business, at $99, is really where the tool becomes usable for a small agency managing more than one client site.
