TubeBuddy is a browser extension and adds itself directly into YouTube Studio rather than running as a separate app. That matters for the workflow: keyword research, tag suggestions and SEO scoring happen right where you are already uploading and editing, instead of tab-switching to a dashboard. The free-tier tools cover the basics; tag ranking, keyword explorer, and a best-practices audit for new uploads.
The Legend tier is where it earns the creator toolkit label. Bulk processing lets you update tags, cards or end screens across your entire back catalogue in one pass, useful once a channel has enough history that editing videos one at a time stops being practical. A/B testing for thumbnails and titles is also Legend-only, and is the single feature most established creators mention as the reason they upgraded.
