Dashword

Dashword is a content optimization platform that analyzes the pages ranking for a target keyphrase and turns that research into a content brief and a live score for the draft. Writers see the keywords, related questions and topics competing pages cover, then edit in Dashword's built-in editor or through its Google Docs add-on while a content grade and readability level update as they type.

Beyond pre-publication optimization, Dashword adds a monitoring layer. It crawls a site to import pages automatically, generates new keyword reports weekly, tracks ranking positions and flags pages that are losing or not receiving traffic, which makes it usable for refreshing older content as well as briefing new articles. An AI writer is included on both plans (capped at 100k words on Startup).

Dashword's more distinctive angle is agent-readiness. The API and an MCP server are included on every plan, so Claude, Cursor or custom code can create a report, read the brief and score a draft; scoring through the API is free and unlimited, and only reports consume credits. Pricing is report-based rather than seat-based at the low end, with 30 reports on Startup and 100 on Business, so cost scales with how many pieces of content are optimized.
